PEARL iZUMi is a cycling brand that has a long history of helping elite cyclists find their limits and push past them. It’s a brand that was worn by champions. A brand once synonymous with cycling. But with the emergence of new, flashy, innovative competition, it was time for PEARL to push themselves to the next level.

So we created a bold new look and feel, a new tagline, and a new copy direction that brought the beautiful moments of cycling with the feeling of fully engaged freedom.

Pushing the Tone

This poetic, haiku-inspired copy direction focuses on the feeling you get while riding your bike, both emotional and physical, while standing out among a sea of rugged, aggressive headlines in the cycling space.
