Before you ever said “Hey Google,” you would say “Hey Mom.” To get your questions answered, to get a water refill, or to get out of a sticky situation, all you had to do was say those two words and your mom would be there to help.
This mother’s day Google wanted to encourage kids, both young and old, to give their mother’s a little extra help by reminding them of all of the help their moms gave them throughout the years.
Then we turned our video into a whole. lot. of content.
We posted the full video on the @googlenest and @madebygoogle channels and on the Google YouTube channel. While we were at it, we created cutdowns to post in IG Stories and to use as content for paid social. Once all of the mandatories were taken care of, we found our favorite “Hey Mom” moments and turned them into GIFs to live on Twitter during Mother’s Day.
Apparently the editors over at ADWEEK have helpful mother’s, because this spot made it onto the creativity front page as a “Pick of the Week.” Here’s proof of the nice things they said.
